In stage 1 districts and schools come together to assess their readiness for establishing a redesign process.
Design Team Vocab | We first recommend communities at this level begin to acclimate themselves to the redesign process with a quick review of our design team vocabulary. This document is important for district and school leaders first and then teachers, students and community members. |
Pilot Readiness Survey | Following an understanding of some key terms we developed a readiness survey districts can use to assess if their schools’ are ready to tackle a redesign project. This resource is most useful for district and school administrators. |
Pathways to Personalization | Finally once they have scored their own readiness, we recommend the schools and districts read the Pathways to Personalization to better equip them for the mindset of redesign and the structures and systems it requires. This resource will be useful for all design team members. |
In the second stage we have developed a set of resources that will support schools to establish the conditions that will allow design teams to work with the least amount of resistance.
Design Team Process | This document outlines the key steps to forming a design team and establishing the vision and outlining the processes the Design Team will follow. It is most useful for school leaders, teachers and district administrators. |
