Coined a “subversive innovation lab for educators,” EdUnderground provides a free monthly forum and asynchronous professional learning community for edtech pioneers and instructional innovators from classrooms across the state. Participants discover, explore, create, and experiment with technology integration strategies and blended learning models using hardware platforms and software programs that support the diverse needs of students.
An EdUnderground gathering resembles an EdCamp in an Apple Store with the focus and intensity of a StartupWeekend. Educators collaborate to test and validate various tools for use in a variety of settings for diverse learners. The goal is to inspire collective inquiry and design thinking — empowering teacher creativity and problem-solving.
